On this episode of EmpowHER, Nicole Graham and Tanya Dempsey, co-CEOs of CSG Advisors, talk with Lopa Kolluri, Senior VP at M&T Bank, whose journey in housing finance is truly one of a kind. Her international and stateside journey in housing finance has transformed lives across sectors.

From her early work in global development to leading affordable housing efforts here in the U.S., Lopa shares the powerful story of migration, community, and the pivotal role of home.

By the time Lopa was 18, she had lived on 4 continents, traveled extensively, and been to 8 different schools (which was difficult as an introvert).

Her one constant was home – a warm, cozy safe space that anchored her. That, combined with summertime visits to see her aunt in public housing in London, showed her the importance of community.

Home and community continue to be at the heart of her journey.

Tune in to hear her insights on navigating challenges, breaking barriers as a woman of color, and the importance of mentorship.
